(i assume all my visitors are girls :P)
well, i just got back from watching Batman Begins. fabulous la! i think christian bale has SUCH manly charm. ;D
before the movie, i went for the Retreat. it was great. i mean, try as i might to deny that God truly does exist, i simply cannot find the evidence for my disbelief. even when i wasn't a Christian, i believed there's a God, because i knew there has to be reason why i am the way i am, why everything happens the way they do...
thank God that He helped me to accept myself for who i am- for my thunderthighs, eyes that disappear whenever i laugh, and a nose that seems a little out of proportion. not to mention my how i'm so perfect yet so imperfect all at the same time.
i used to feel as though i was a prodigy at something, without realizing that i have potential for another dream that's a million times better.
i thank God also for my spiritual family! :) i have to be honest here: never in my life had i imagined myself to even talk to the basketball guys, much less share the same beliefs and go to camps together. after all, it used to be that express kids and N(A) kids never talked to each other except to pick a fight (haha). then there's also joy, bel, jacq, nicole, julie, eunice, michelle, nat, cheryl, huiqi, sharon, lynette and janice. i can only wonder how such complex an affinity came by.
aren't you simply so amazed sometimes how everything seems to happen? :)
basically, i came home today extremely worn out but ultimately happy.
'high and dry no more.
